Love it! I like the strap for the cup and the interior pocket, and the lining fabric is killer.

Awesome job! The grab handles are a cool idea.

I am making leather patches to sew onto my bags (and onto velcro). I made a drawing for my logo, and made a 3D printed stamp from it.
Using scrap leather pices, I soak the leather with water.
I then clamp the stamp against the leather in a vice.
I leave it clamped for a couple of hours.
After the leather dries, I have pretty cool patches!

I have made another tool pouch, this time in X-Pac for the exterior, and Ecopack EPX200 for the interior. The buckle is a Fidlock Slider.
Under the flap there are 4 pockets for tools, and a larger pocket behind the interior pockets for papers.
There is a large compartment that can fit toolkits, flashlights etc., 2 pockets for pens on the side, and another pocket covered by the lid that can hold a notebook.
I have made a few of these and really like this layout.

Steffen TT Thanks for the nice feedback! I only recently started using Ecopak, so I will let some time pass and then check back about seam durability.

The latest bag I made was this tool roll/bag. The main fabric is Ecopak EPLX400, the lining is UltraGrid Ripstop 210D, and the interior tool pocket is made with waxed canvas. For the strap I used 25mm webbing with a Fidlock Slider.
There is a slip pocket behind the tool pocket:
Despite the small size, there is room for a lot in this bag, here is what it currently holds (with room to spare):
This is the second time I make this bag, I have learned a lot since the first attempt, and I corrected some of the mistakes I made the first time around.

I made another belt bag. This one is based on a pattern from LearnMYOG, but for the belt strap I took inspiration from Steffen TT and his belt bag published here a while back
The fabric is Ecopak EPLX400, and the zipper is YKK AquaGuard.

Cool, and thanks for the tip about the Fjellräven wax!

I am doing a tool bag, and I am making internal pockets from waxed canvas. I used regular canvas, and melted 2/3 paraffin wax (I used tea candles from IKEA for this) and 1/3 bees wax in a water bath (I put the wax in a tomato tin that I had washed), and then applied the melted wax liberally to the canvas with a brush. I then used a hairdryer on the fabric (don't tell my wife) to make sure the wax penetrated the fabric properly, and left it overnight. Then I used the hairdryer to melt the wax, and brushed the fabric with a cloth to remove the excess.
I am happy with the result. The first picture shows the waxed canvas and a piece of untreated canvas, and the second shows the pockets attached to the lining of the bag.

Over time I realised that I didn't have good lighting in my sewing corner. I started looking and found some cheap LED lights on Amazon (2 x 120cm 40W lights - €30 for the pair), and I hung one over my sewing station and one over the electronics bench, and now I am bathing in light. It is quite amazing how much impact good lights have on the work area.
These lights are quite basic, and came without plugs and switches, but mounting a switch and a plug was quick work, and the light from them is impeccable. I highly recommend them if you sometimes think "I wish I had better light".

Awesome puch! And neat work! The mix of the alpine fabric and the orange interior is really cool also.
Cheers,

By the way, I chose the logo to be a viking with a beer glass because A) I am from Norway, and B) I also brew (and love) beer, so having a "brand" reflecting both seemed fitting.

Das taktische Schneiderlein Prost!
Steffen TT Glad you like it, I am very happy with the result myself. And yes, having a zero waste approach also to gift-giving is great. -
That is a beauty of a machine!

With some leftover fabric I made this little mini tote bag. The format is the same as the grocery bag I posted a while back. The “brand” is a sketch I scanned and 3D printed, and placed in a vice against wet leather. It is a nice little bag, and a few might end up as christmas presents this year.
