I recently saw Laura Kampf's ESTR project (Emotional Support Tool Roll) for keeping tools and found objects. I wanted one for myself, so using XPac and canvas I went to work, and I am very happy with the result. I still have a way to go when it comes to keeping the stitches neat and even, but practice makes perfect.
