Velcro tape is a type of fastening tape consisting of two different types of tape, hook tape and loop tape. When hook tape and loop tape are joined together, the plastic hooks on the hook tape dig into the loops and create the fastening. This connection can be released again when pulled apart. Velcro tape is used on rucksacks, bags, workwear, equipment and personal protective equipment for authorities as well as in the clothing and sports sectors.
