Nylon webbing type 7 Class 1a is manufactured in accordance with Mil-W-4088K specifications. The webbing is made from yarn-dyed threads in a plain weave. Plain weave is the simplest and most durable weave due to its high thread density. A yellow thread is woven into the outer edges of the webbing to indicate the tensile strength. According to the manufacturer, the webbing has a width of 43.6 mm, a material thickness of 2 mm, and a tensile strength of 6000 lbs.
